Google TV, Android TV, Fire TV
Google Play and the Amazon Appstore deliver updates the way they do for any app. Your library link, channels and looks stay on the device. Settings → Help & about shows the version.
Windows
Settings → Help & about → Windows updates. The app checks quietly after it opens and every six hours while running; turn automatic checks off if you prefer. When an update is available you choose Download update, the file is checked against the expected Rightek publisher signature, and you choose when to restart. Playback is never interrupted by an update. The current public build is 0.9.7-beta.22.
